OPEN COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT:

GOLD RANCH FIRE BURN AREA

Dec 2024: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Nevada Division of Environmental Protection and Truckee Meadows Water Authority awarded One Truckee River a total of $120,000 to conduct riverbank stabilization along the Gold Ranch Fire burn area. Under the grant, One Truckee River administers the work and releases an Open Competition seeking to hire a consultant to implement treatments, including slope stabilization such as log barrier placement, seeding, and mulch application.

The Gold Ranch Fire Project is made possible by the One Truckee River Coalition's efforts to bring together public and private partners to improve the urban riparian and upland forest along the Gold Ranch Fire burn areas along the Truckee River Corridor.
