Our 3rd goal is to build an aware and engaged community that protects and cares for the river.
Several of One Truckee River’s partner organizations are directly involved in building an aware and engaged community that protects and cares for the river. Their efforts include year-round educational offerings for children, adults, and families. Visit their websites to learn more:

However, One Truckee River Partnership Council has not prioritized a specific effort under Goal 3 at this time.
In the meantime, our River-Friendly Living online material is a great way to learn more about what you can do to care for the Truckee River. Through river-friendly individual actions, yard maintenance and design, neighborhood development, and volunteering your voices and hands – you can do your part to protect the gem of our region for years to come!
