Come Join KTMB in an educational riverwalk starting at the McKinley Arts Center following the Riverside Farmers Market. This will begin with an interesting and interactive story-telling activity about the Truckee River Watershed then will soon be joined by One Truckee River who will lead all participants in a demonstration of some of the River-Friendly technologies at the Art Center such as rain gardens and permeable paving! This walk will continue along the Truckee River, heading west toward Booth Street Bridge where people will get to learn more about native and non-native vegetation, non-point source pollution, pollinators, and other River-Friendly Landscaping tips! This walk will on about half a mile long!
