Truckee’s Night Wildlife Campfire Program

May 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Update: Due to weather, this program has been moved from the Campfire Center to the Visitor Center theater and will now start at 7 p.m.

Join Michelle Witte, naturalist from the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science, for a fun and educational evening of exploring the wonders of the Truckee region’s nocturnal wildlife! Expect to learn about the interesting and amazing lives of all creatures of the night, including native bats, birds, insects, and more! This presentation is proudly presented in partnership between One Truckee River, California State Parks, and Tahoe Institute for Natural Science as part of One Truckee River Month. Remember to dress for a late May evening in the mountains, and bring a headlamp to light your way.
