Before we set out on our clean-up, enjoy a guided interpretive walk through the park and learn a thing or two about different kinds of plants. We will focus on invasive vs. non-invasive, as well as native and non-native plants.
Afterward, we will continue removing invasive thistles and hemlock. Nevada Department of Wildlife has organized this event in an effort to help native plant life take back their natural habitat.
Summer is a time when so many people will discover and utilize the Oxbow Nature Study Area, and it is important to provide the most natural and enjoyable environment for all plants, animals, and people. So join us Thursday morning!
