The Secret Life of Streams! For kids and grownups!

Loralei is coming to REI! The Secret Life of Streams allows children to grow a friendship with their closest waters, blossoming into a lifetime of stewardship through familiarity, curiosity, humor and the possibilities that all things can encourage positive change. Even for the bugs who “aren’t so nice all the time”. Drawing from background as a toxicologist, environmental scientist, stream ecologist and teacher, Lynell Marie Garfield has spun a web blending story-telling and a scientific beginners field guide. Her passion for rivers and desire to share with others creatively led to her writing and producing The Secret Life of Streams. She will join us in costume to share her knowledge and sign her books! A great event for kids and families!
