Explore The Truckee River Watershed at The Discovery (ALL MAY LONG)

Please come enjoy The Discovery’s newly revamped Truckee Connects museum gallery and loads of other hands on learning fun. Learn about the Truckee River and get a little wet! Gently flowing beneath the Cloud Climber, a three story tall climbing structure, Truckee Connects meanders through as a working representation of the Truckee River watershed from the chilly depths of Lake Tahoe to the shimmering shores of Pyramid Lake. A fun and interactive opportunity to learn about the many uses of water such as recreation, irrigation, hydroelectric power, and wildlife habitat; Truckee Connects provides opportunities to experiment with water and explore many of its uses in our region.

$10 kids ages 1-17, $12 adults 18 and older

The Discovery Museum is open Tuesday 10-5, Wednesday 10-8pm, Thursday – Saturday 10-5pm, Sunday 10-5pm. 

This is a One Truckee River Month VIP event, get your VIP card punched by a One Truckee River representative at the event. Attend a minimum 5 out of 10 VIP events and you could win a prize from local businesses like Patagonia, REI, Mt. Rose Ski Resort, Reno Aces & 1868, Nevada Wolfpack, Grand Sierra Resort, and more!
