Local historian Jack Hursh will join us for this trek along the Truckee River. We’ll talk about the massive cottonwoods lining the river and the species that benefit from them. Our path will lead us along the Truckee River and to a barn that has stood in this area for over 100 years. With Mr. Hursh’s help, we’ll explore yesteryear and see how our ancestors built things to last.
Pit toilet available at the entrance of the park. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome, but not in the barn.
