“Bass Camp In The Park” ft. Chris Lake
June 29 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Bass Camp Festival, Northern Nevada’s largest electronic music promoters, brings a full day and evening of national DJ headliners, art cars, live art, exhibitions, a vendor village and food trucks to Wingfield Park in downtown Reno for the annual “Bass Camp in the Park” event on the Truckee River, Saturday, June 29 from 4 p.m.-10 p.m.
To serve as its main stage for the Reno event, Bass Camp Festival brings the acclaimed Dancetronauts Bass Station Stage/Art Car, a rocket-ship-style stage, complete with sound, lighting and flaming special-effects, dubbed for the Las Vegas-hailing DJs performing at the event. It has also been featured at the annual Bass Camp Festival in Lake Tahoe, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas, and Burning Man over the years.
Grammy-nominated British DJ/Producer, Chris Lake, will headline this popular outdoor event. Among Lake’s credits are several Billboard chart-toppers, a platinum record, a
Grammy nomination, and a Midas touch for supporting emerging talent. He has built up a massive discography of original productions and remixes, ranging from progressive house and tech-house to vocal-driven tracks. He’s scored several charting hits, collaborated with EDM heavyweights such as Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki, and remixed pop stars such as Sia, Kylie Minogue, and Lady Gaga. Australian DJ/Producer Duo, Yolanda Be Cool, AKA aka Bondi boys Andy and Matt, will join the line-up in the park. The unavoidable worldwide number one breakthrough track, “We No Speak Americano” sold over 5 million copies and amassed over 200 million YouTube views. LA-Based DJ/Producer VNSSA will also appear on this stellar line-up. Her debut single was released in early 2018 on House of Hustle Records and since, she has released an EP on Late Night Munchies, a single on Strangelove Recordings, an EP on Psycho Disco, an EP on Tons & Tons, a remix on Sweat It Out, and more. In addition to playing her own shows, she has opened for numerous acts such as Chris Lake, Claptone, Destructo, Nora En Pure, Billy Kenny, Ciszak, Worthy, Walker & Royce, Bixel Boys, Poolside, Cassian, Mat Zo, Shiny Toy Guns, Ardalan, Phlegmatic Dogs, Noise Frenzy, Wolfgang Gartner, Weiss, Kyle Watson, Wongo, SNBRN, Bot, and many more.
Dancetronauts bring their riveting, multi-sensory production that includes dancers, lighting effects, world-class DJs and a pair of engaging frontmen to Bass Camp in the Park. Other headliners will be announced closer to festival time.
